Friday Confessions: Default Face

I am not sure if this post technically fits into "Friday Confessions", but it tells you something about me and its my blog so I make the rules. Plus it comes with slightly embarrasing photos of me at the end...but read first. Don't skip ahead.

After spending a week with junior highers, you might discover 2 things. 1. Everyone you come across looks like an animal. You may not see it at first, but trust me- everyone looks like an animal. 2. Everyone has a default face. A default face is the face you make when you are just there, not engaging in anything (i.e. conversation, activity, ect.).

I was told that I look like a turtle. Flattering...I think not. Then I was told I look like a bunny. So turtle/bunny combination might equal a turny or a buntle or my favorite a burtle. I, however, cannot imagine what a burtle would look like. I guess...me. Honestly, I would like to be a kitten. Not a cat, a kitten.

Anyways, I know that I have a default face. I can't help it. Some say its a little intimidating, like my college professor who told me that she never wanted to interview me because of the expression on my face during class, but who can blame me? Sitting through an hour long lecture class is not very exciting. Others may say its funny. No smile. Slightly opened mouth. Slightly blank eyes. Next time you are bored just go people watching and you will be very entertained.

All I can say is at least my default face is not this... 

And certainly not this....
