1 week old

i can't believe emma taylor is 1 week old today! it is still so amazing to think that just one week ago i was still pregnant, and now she is ours. we have been doing well so far, and getting some sleep at night as long as we swaddle her as tight as she will go. she is surprisingly strong and will get out of the swaddle if it isn't perfectly tight. today is my first day home alone with her since glen goes back to work, and i plan on a lot of resting and doing a lot of nothing!

i can't believe how much we love this little girl already!

    Thought about you today as I made my volunteer rounds at the hospital. Also, remembered it was JUST last Thursday when you were admitted. A lot has happened in a week, hasn't it?

    she is amazing, miriam! congrats! love that dark hair.

    both of ours would only go to sleep tightly swaddled too ... which is why kenny already knew how to swaddle when owen was born. the nurses were so impressed. :)
