pirates
I love to dress up. I love free food. both of those things make "national talk like a pirate day" at krispy kreme lots of fun.
preschool
I had applied for e.t. to go to a Montessori school this year for the 3 year old program. there are a limited number of spots and sadly she didn't get in. I am so glad she is with us and not in school (and I think macy is too) but I also am feeling like she needs/wants more. so we are starting to learn how to spell her name. I am learning quickly that I couldn't homeschool but preschooling her (if you can call it that) might be worth my effort. so here we are with our first letter "E"!
animal prints
the zoo could be our second home. I am so glad it is a mere 5 minutes from our house. and I am learning that macy may love animals even more than e.t. if that is possible. I don't love animal prints but since we have them I think the zoo is a very appropriate place to wear them. and of course the girls think so too! I am looking forward to cooler fall weather and many more zoo trips.
copycat
y'all, macy is emma taylor's little shadow. seriously it kills me sometimes how cute it is to watch her try to do everything that emma taylor does. I am so thankful for how well these girls play together and so glad that they have each other. my prayer for them is that they will continue to be best friends and grow and encourage each other when they get older.

yard work
emma taylor loves to help her daddy do yard work. she seriously copies everything he does and its adorable. speaking of yard work we are putting in some new bushes and I can't wait for that project to be done!

we are all about princesses and ballerinas and zebra print purses and I had nothing to do with it. now I am out of my comfort zone!
the way to e.t.'s heart...
...is reading her books. you read her one you will read her 100 and then she will love you forever.
