I love that emma taylor has cousins so close in age, and that they have so much fun together! we were in Augusta for 2 nephew birthday parties and h gladly shared some photos she snapped. thanks for always being our photographer!

 

boo at the zoo {2013}

after my dad's birthday get together we dressed up and went to Boo at the Zoo! it was chaotic but fun and becoming a tradition for the lentz clan.

 

 

 

starting young

we always joke about emma taylor needing to earn her keep around here. we've toyed with idea of making her a baby model, but for now hard labor will have to due. in all actuality she loves helping daddy do "ardwork" (yardwork) which includes anything done in the back yard. here she is learning to use a hammer. luckily she is a VERY calm and not rambunctious child. otherwise, this little project could have been quite dangerous.

 

on another note...glen is taking apart pallets for another compost pile and a chicken coop for next year!

this weekend we hosted a little birthday get together for my dad..."61 and still lookin' young". happy birthday dad!

although macy seemed a little less excited to wear the hat than emma taylor was, it's still fun to see the comparison of her and macy in the same clothes...or in this case accessory.

 

 

 

2 months {macy}

macy is 2 months! she is doing well. she takes 4 shorter naps a day (about 45 minutes each). we hope that she will lengthen those but for now we are just dealing with it. at least it makes it a bit easier to run out for errands and not be stuck for 2 hours at a time. she is a big and healthy girl who smiles a lot and is looking more like glen (I think) everyday. here are her stats:

 

height: 24.5 in (98%)

weight: 12 lbs (79 %)

head: 15.25 in (50%)

 

 

 

 

 

 

emma taylor at 2 months. macy and emma taylor are almost the exact same size at this age. e.t. was 2 oz heavier and 1/4 inch shorter. the only difference is e.t. had a much bigger head!

somebody has become quite the smiley baby as of late...it makes me happy to see it even when she should be going to bed instead of just looking and smiling at me :)
