secret santa {11th annual}

christmas pajamas

we are starting a new tradition (that i stole from a friend). the girls will get new pajamas every year, and they will get to open and wear them on christmas eve night.

we woke up, ate breakfast, and...

 

 

...opened presents.

 

 

 

then played with those presents...

 

 

 

we tried hot lukewarm chocolate for the first time...

 

 

...and took naps.

 

 

then we made a delicious dinner...

 

 

...and enjoyed it with our little family!

 

christmas eve {2013}

on christmas eve we went to church for a special joint christmas eve service with 2 other local churches. i don't think we have been to a christmas eve service since we were married and it was so good. we then raced to pick up our new traditional christmas eve food...chinese from egg roll station. e.t. doesn't watch tv ever really unless its the news that we watch in the morning, but we decided it would be a treat to watch something together. so we watched the original Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. she was enamored...
