guess what?

these two are excited to share that they will both be big sisters come october 2015! mama is carrying baby #3 and baby #4. we are still in shock!

a horse, of course

we love the zoo and have been talking about riding the ponies for a while now. emma taylor has said when she turns four she will ride the pony. but she did it today. we are so lucky to have some friends who have the fancy zoo passes that let you do all the fun stuff for free. we rode the carousel twice, fed the lorikeets, fed the giraffes, rode the train, and got a pony ride. i was sure she would back out once she got up to the pony but she surprised me and i am so proud!

cinderella

This weekend i had the chance to take emma taylor to see the cinderella ballet at the Koger Center. i had been debating going for awhile and decided against it because the tickets were pricey if we wanted to be able to see well. saturday morning i had a friend give me a voucher for a free child's ticket! what a blessing. so we jumped on the chance to go that afternoon. i also found out if you are a member of the richland library you got $5 off your ticket. we had great seats and had a fabulous time.

routine

every. single. morning. the girls get up. they get their milk. they grab their books and read while i get their breakfasts together. so sweet.

markers

one day i nievely let emma taylor have markers during her rest time. she colored her face. luckily that's the only thing she colored. however, the next day after a stern talk i let her have her markers again. she colored her pants, her socks, and the floor. needless to say she has not been allowed markers again for a long time. her shenanigans do make for a good picture though :)
